Hello and welcome to the very first post on the Glassmelon.com blog!

If you’ve been following our journey from the beginning, you might notice things look a little different around here. We recently made the decision to transition our brand name to Glassmelon.com.

While our original name served us well during these short period of earliest days, as we began crafting more upcycled decoupage vases, hand-poured candles, and curated corporate gifts, we realized we needed a name that felt as vibrant and unique as the pieces we create.

Why “Glassmelon.com”?

To us, Glassmelon.com represents the intersection of craftsmanship and nature. Like the intricate decoupage on our upcycled glassware, it’s about taking something foundational and turning it into something fresh, colorful, and unexpected.

What’s Changing?

Only the name! Our commitment to handmade quality and sustainable decor is not just the same but rather evolves along with the brand.

As the maker behind Glassmelon.com, I am constantly exploring new ways to look at decor. I love the process of crafting and, more importantly, seeing things differently. Often, I’ll look at a very regular item—something that might typically end up in a landfill—and I try to see the hidden beauty within it. My goal is to transform those overlooked objects into something truly display-worthy.

I urge you to try the same: look at what a thing can be, rather than just what it is now. I’ve found that this creative shift brings so much joy; it serves as a wonderful recreational escape from the mundane routines of daily life.

Whether I am reimagining a found object or crafting something entirely new, you can still expect the same dedication in every piece:

• Artisanal Decoupage & Upcycled Treasures: My signature vases are one-of-a-kind pieces that I have personally reimagined from everyday glass into art.
• Fresh Artisanal Creations: Beyond upcycling, I create high-quality pieces from scratch—including my Hand-Poured Candles, designed to bring warmth and a signature scent to your home.
• Bespoke Gifting: I am also expanding my capabilities for corporate gifts and bulk orders, allowing me to help you share the joy of handmade art on a much larger scale.
