The Story of Glassmelon.com: Finding Beauty in the Mundane
At Glassmelon.com, the goal is simple: to explore the potential of decor and find beauty in places others might overlook.
A Different Way of Seeing :
This studio began with a shift in perspective. As a child, I was the one collecting “interesting” bits and pieces that others might have seen as clutter. That innate curiosity led me to study Interior Design in college, where I learned to professionalize my eye for space optimization, zoning, traffic flow, and ergonomics.
While I spent time working in the industry, I realized my heart was eager to create something not bound by rules. I much enjoy creating decor by myself. At Glassmelon.com, I use that design background to see what a mundane item can be. Most of the signature Upcycled Decoupage Vases you see here started as something ordinaryโa bottle or a jar that might typically end up in a landfill. Through reimagining, they are transformed into one-of-a-kind, display-worthy treasures.
The Joy of the Process :
Crafting is more than just a way to create products; it is a recreational escape. There is a quiet joy in taking a blank canvasโwhether itโs a rescued glass bottle or a fresh batch of soy waxโand turning it into something that brings warmth to a home. I believe engaging with creativity is a vital break from routine. I urge you to try the same: take a second look at the “regular” things around you. You might be surprised at the beauty waiting to be found.
From the Studio to Your Home Glassmelon.com is a small, independent proprietorship. Every piece is handcrafted, packed, and sent out directly from my workspace. This hands-on approach ensures that whether you are choosing a single candle for your side table or coordinating bulk corporate gifts, the quality and care remain personal.
Stay Connected to the Process:
While this site is where my creations find their final form, the journey happens every day in the studio. Since there is no physical storefront, this digital space is how I connect with the world. Iโm honored that these pieces get to become a small part of your home and your story.
